What is the Flipps Black Week Raffle?

Flipps Black Week Raffle is our first annual event that brings the watch community together for one promotion, and where one winner gets a free Rolex Submariner. Those looking to participate in the 2021 Flipps Black Week Raffle (“Black Week Raffle”) can find official Rules below.

To enter the Black Week Raffle, you will need to download the free Flipps mobile app for iOS (the “Flipps app”).

Who is eligible to participate?

The Black Week Raffle Event is available for individuals who are eligible to open and maintain an account on the Flipps App (a “Flipps Account”),  are 17  years of age or older at the time of entry and resides in Norway.

How do I participate in Black Week Raffle?

To participate in the Black Weekend Raffle Event, please download the latest version of the Flipps App in the Apple App Store. Each eligible participant will get 10 tickets upon signing up. You can obtain additional tickets, at no financial cost, by participating in the Black week Raffle Event activities as described further below.

+10 tickets to each participant when signing up on the Flipps App.

+30 tickets for each social share from a Flipps post during Black Week Raffle - each shared post on Instagram, Instagram stories or Facebook yields 30 tickets. Social tickets are capped to max 150 tickets per participant. On instagram, participants need to tag @Flipps.co when sharing.

+100 tickets to seller when a watch is listed on Flipps during Black weekend Raffle.

+200 tickets to both seller and buyer when a watch is sold on Flipps during Black weekend Raffle.

This year we are raffling out a Rolex Submariner to one participant.

I don’t own an iOS or Android device, can I still participate?

The Flipps Black Week Raffle is limited to Flipps on iOS devices. You will not be able to participate without the Flipps App.

Can I create multiple profiles?

We do not support the creation of multiple accounts and it will not increase your chances of winning. Multiple account registrations may also result in disqualification and is a violation of the Flipps Terms of Use.


What is Flipps?

Flipps is a safe marketplace for watches. Established in 2021 to bring trust to the watch community through its technology platform. While Flipps main focus is on watches, we continuously iterate on new markets and opportunities such as retailers, brands and other segments.

How does it work?

Sellers list their items for sale on Flipps, while buyers search through the current listings. If required by customers items can be shipped to us first for verification iin order to ensure its authenticity and condition.

Which payment service does Flipps use?

Flipps uses Stripe as our payment provider. We accept major credit cards such as Visa and Mastercard.

How does escrow work?

Our goal at Flipps is to provide our customers with a safe and frictionless experience when buying or selling their item. As such we provide an escrow service free of charge. The escrow service allows Flipps to store your payment on a secure Stripe account until you have received your item.

How does flipps authenticate my item?

Flipps uses a combination of seller pre-screening, picture verification and if required from buyer hands-on authentication from one of our partner watchmakers depending on where your item is located and the end destination. Our partner watchmakers can also create inspection reports, if more in-depth information is required. Please contact support@flipps.co for enquiries.

Is my item insured during shipping?

We can insure items and declare coverage of up to €100,000.00 per item. Please contact our customer support.

Commission Policy

Commission fee

Commission is only applied after a seller list their item. The commission fee is 5% from buyer.

Sellers are continuously being monitored for cancellations after an item is purchased, verification issues and described condition of item. If discrepancies continue to be an issue, Flipps reserves the right to ban sellers from our platform.

Pricing, shipping and returns


All prices are subject to change without notice at any time. Available inventory is subject to change without notice at any time. As a result, if your order is canceled for any reason, you may not be able to purchase the same item you originally ordered, and if the same item is available, it may not be available at the same price of your original purchase.

Shipping, contact, billing and payment information

Please review your shipping, contact, billing and payment information for accuracy before submitting an order. Billing information must match the billing information you have on file with the issuing bank. Please note that Flipps is unable to change a shipping address once the order has been placed.

Flipps offers DHL Express if requested from buyer to ensure that your item is delivered as promised. If not, regular mail service will be used.

How do I sell on Flipps?

To ensure that Flipps upholds its promise as a safe marketplace, we only accept verified sellers. To become a seller on Flipps, please fill out additional information on our Flipps tab on IOS and Android App. 


After our review process is approved, you can tap the Flipps tab and add a watch listing. Please add as much information as possible as this ensures both Flipps and potential buyers the adequate information before purchase and assists us in the authenticity process.

Photo walkthrough

The photos uploaded must be of the item in your possession that you intend to sell and ship. Any issues with the item need to be clearly shown and photographed.

Sold an item

Awesome, let's get started! When an item is confirmed sold, Flipps will send you a confirmation email with shipping instructions and packaging. Remember, items must be shipped in the same condition in which they were originally listed. If the condition changes due to damage or wear, you may cancel your order in the app under the Sell tab or send us a request on support@flipps.co.


Your item should always be shipped in a cardboard or rigid box. Secure your item in an initial packaging such as a padded envelope, plastic bag or small box then put it in the larger box. Please seal any seams or flaps on the outer box with strong tape. Use additional packing materials such as padded envelopes, bubble wrap, paper, foam pad, making sure movement of goods is restricted. As your package will be dropped off several times during transportation, please make sure your package can survive dropping. Note, the failure to package the item correctly will result in loss of shipping insurance.


Nothing on the packaging or label should reveal the nature or value of your item. Beware of wording that might inadvertently express a reference to the contents of your package. Obvious words that relate directly to valuables are strictly prohibited. For international shipments requiring a customs form, place the customs form under the shipping label inside the plastic bag provided by the carrier.

Failed authentication

In the event your item does not pass our authentication process we will contact you and explain our decision. We reserve the right to invoice you for the cost sustained during shipping and authentication. Flipps also reserves the right to invoice you for shipping should you request your item back. In the event that you don‘t request your item back, Flipps will destroy said item.

Inauthentic / stolen items

Flipps reserves the right to contact local law authority if we suspect that the item listed is inauthentic or stolen. As a consequence, sellers will be banned for life on Flipps.

Flipps AS will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Flipps.co follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this as part of hosting services' analytics.
