One day, we watched our nephew struggle to turn the pages of his favorite board book. After countless attempts to help, we realized there had to be a better way — so we got to work.

Thoughtfully made for children
FLIPPS was created by a Special Education teacher and Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 20 years of experience supporting children of all abilities. The goal was simple: every child deserves the chance to independently engage with books.
The first version was handmade — a popsicle stick hot-glued onto a board book so a child could finally turn the pages on their own. It worked, but it damaged the book and never felt like a real solution. That moment sparked a bigger mission.
FLIPPS was designed to be gentle on books and empowering for kids — promoting access, dignity, and a lifelong love of reading. Every child deserves to hold a book, turn the page, and get lost in a story independently.
